In a country proud of tap water exactly what comes out of the water dispenser here? Salt water. I made baby formula and feed it to an infant. Thankfully I tried it before she drank the whole thing. Shame is the word for the tap water here.

The Altaussee Literature Museum was founded by Alois Mayrhuber and has taken account of the artistic and humanities diversity of the Ausseerland in recent decades.

In the Altaussee Literature Museum, the interaction of residents, landscape and writers with text and images and historical exhibits is to be shown. Many letters, stories, plays and novels have been written here and refer to the landscape, history and the inhabitants.

The appeal of the Salzkammergut is still great today. The Altaussee Literature Museum is intended to contribute to the lively communication of literature in a variety of ways.
